About Flora's Garden
Flora's Garden is owned by London trained florist Harriet Creedy. Based in a floral workshop in Northampton, Harriet creates modern, creative and theatrical arrangements to suit the needs of all clients for all budgets. Having been trained by Judith Blacklock Harriet's style is contemporary but each arrangement is constructed traditionally and expertly.
Harriet Says:
Flora's Garden is a creative florist with a passion for the unique and quirky. I provide dramatic floral decoration for all occasions; weddings, business, household, events, gifts and any other occasion requiring floral decoration. Where one person sees a simple bunch of flowers I see nature's art, and I believe my role is to present such art in the most original and eye-catching way.
I am a big follower of the fashion world and with this passion in mind Flora's Garden aims to provide 'fashionable flowers'. I do this in many ways - perhaps in shape or colour, and also by giving you a choice of embellishments for your flowers such as bows, feathers, jewels, buttons, brooches, beading and ribbon. The concept of Flora's Garden will provide you with a floral arrangement bursting with creativity!
Whether you have ideas in mind or are open to design suggestions, Flora's Garden will work through the design process with you to achieve the perfect result for your needs.

"My first experience of flowers by Harriet Creedy of Flora's Garden is the beginning of a beautiful floral
relationship. I adore flowers, and get much pleasure from sending flowers to my family and friends.
This year I was embarking on a very emotional personal journey as my family planned to scatter my Nan's ashes
on what would have been her 94th birthday, over 200 miles away. As this would be my final time to give my Nan
birthday flowers I knew I wanted something feminine and beautiful, and I knew my budget. Harriet rose to my
challenge, asking questions about my Nan's favourite flowers and colours. I shared with Harriet that my Nan's
favourite flowers were Orchids, but I didn't believe we could use these due to their cost.
When Harriet arrived with my flowers the day before my epic journey I was overwhelmed by what she had created.
With tears in my eyes I spied the most gorgeous Orchids in the most beautiful colours, and Harriet had even
included the same Cymbidium Orchid that had featured in my funeral floral tribute for my Nan - I was truly
lost for words, but made up for this with my tears. The Orchids were surrounded by gorgeous Tulips in beautiful
shades of Pink. I also noticed the pearls that Harriet had used to secure the green foliage to the bottom of
the flower arrangement. I was also really touched that Harriet had considered the long journey ahead of the
flowers and had added cellophane to the outside of the arrangement to give them added security.
I proudly escorted the flowers over 200 miles and as I laid them 2 days later they looked as fresh as the moment
Harriet delivered them. My family smiled as I recalled the moment my Nan had told me that Orchids were her
favourites - my Aunties all assumed that her favourites were Chrysanthemums!

Excerpt from an interview with Harriet:
What type of service should your clients expect to get from Floras Garden?
I want my customers to be part of the design process. Each bouquet or arrangement will be bespoke and therefore
entirely personal to the customer. I think it is very important to have an idea who the recipient of a bouquet is;
the design must please their tastes and requirements first and foremost. No matter how big or small or how much
the customer wants to spend I always ask if there are any special requirements and I tailor each bouquet to match
these needs. I vehemently believe everybody has the ability to be creative and to break out of the box of the
traditional and 'expected' to some degree.
Where did the name Floras Garden come from?
Flora is the Roman Goddess of flowers and springtime. So I thought who would have the most beautiful garden and I guess it must
be Flora!? I really wanted to create a sense of place, and for clients to feel they are entering into a different world
when they enter my website. The design of the website was based upon a dramatic overgrown stage - and this is reflective
of my flowers too, dramatic and creative!
Do you have a favourite flower you like working with and why?
There are so many it is difficult to choose... I do love all shades of hygrangea and roses. I also enjoy working with
interesting textures so I love thistle, solidago and liatris.

Whether it is a gift bouquet, event flowers or a fashionable item such as a corsage or head dress, here at Flora's Garden we will endeavour to meet every floral request you make! Household
Flora's Garden provides a unique 'Personal Florist' service whereby we are your dedicated household florist and your loyalty is rewarded. We can provide you with regular fresh flowers in vases, deliver your gifts and decorate your special occasions.
Each client who chooses Flora's Garden as their personal Florist will receive regular contact to ensure your designs are varied and to your specific seasonal taste. We will refresh your flowers as often as you require and after your 10th order with Flora's Garden you will receive a complimentary bouquet or voucher to spend with us.

Flora's Garden provides a wide range of decorative arrangements for weddings, parties, awards ceremonies and other events. These will be delivered and constructed FREE within the Northamptonshire area. We also deliver wedding and events flowers nationwide so please contact us for a quote and to discuss your floral requirements.
